[Unreleased]
Added
- Switch your library between a 2:3 cover grid and a denser list view from Settings → Library → Theming. The list shows the cover, title, author, progress, and category chips for each book on one row.
- Auto-categorize new books with the Glyph companion from a curated category list (Glyph Pro). Turn it on in Settings → Summarization to apply 1–3 categories to each book on import; books in your existing library are categorized when you first enable it. Re-categorize any book later from its info sheet.
- Hide the category filter bar above the library grid with the new eye-slash button on the bar. Tags are now called Categories throughout the app.
- Support page in Settings with website, help, changelog, and contact links
- Pick a light, dark, or system appearance for the whole app in Settings → Reader → Theming
- Multi-page text selection in page-flip mode — hold your selection handle at the left or right edge of the screen for half a second to flip to the next or previous page; your selection extends across the flip
Changed
- Changing font size, line spacing, margins, or hyphenation in the reader no longer pauses on an “Indexing…” screen; the page recomputes in the background while you keep reading, and the next change is instant
- Each book now remembers its own reading theme; new books follow your app appearance until you change them
- Header and footer field choices are now part of each theme — open Settings → Theming, tap a theme, and pick what shows in Normal and Focused mode. Existing custom themes inherit your previous global choice; built-in themes (Default, Light, Dark, Sepia) ship with Book title + Page X of Y, so if you only used built-ins your header and footer reset to those. Duplicate a built-in to keep a custom configuration.
- Page layout (page-flip vs scroll) is also per-theme now. Each theme’s Layout section in the editor controls the default; in-reader Aa-panel still overrides per book. Existing custom themes inherit your previous global page-layout setting; built-ins ship with page-flip.
Fixed
- Bookmarks now drop reliably on PDFs (and any chapter where a single long paragraph spans several pages); previously the bookmark button quietly did nothing if no paragraph started on the visible page
- Several fixes to reader layout in landscape and when rotating the device
- Bookmarks placed close together now group into a tidy cluster instead of overlapping
- Jumping between bookmarks in different chapters no longer briefly flashes the wrong chapter
- The bookmark button at the top now fills in correctly after jumping to a bookmark in another chapter
- Text selection no longer accidentally flips the page when you drag a selection handle toward the page edge
- Resetting zoom in the comic reader now fits the whole page on iPad instead of leaving an oversized, full-width page
- Tapping a Pro feature in Settings no longer flashes the upgrade screen closed on the first tap
[1.0.0] - 2026-05-12
Added
- Changelog automation: per-commit drafts and a release recipe
Fixed
- Bookmark rail cluster dot no longer clips past the screen edge when its size exceeds the tab size; oversized clusters now overflow inward toward the page on either rail edge.
- Bookmark color changes now preview live on the rail while editing; cancelling the edit sheet restores the original color.
